CANCELLATION AND MISSED APPOINTMENT POLICY

When you book an appointment with one of our surgeons we set aside time in the schedule to focus on you and your healthcare needs. We strive to stay as close as possible to your scheduled appointment time, however, appointments can run longer due to complex medical issues and the surgeon may run late. Rest assured you will receive the time you need to address your healthcare concerns.

We all know the challenge our healthcare system currently faces with wait times. If you will be unable to attend your scheduled appointment we ask that you please notify the office promptly so that we may release your appointment to another patient who is waiting to see one of our surgeons.

When you are unable to attend your appointment and don’t provide our office with adequate notice we are unable to release this appointment slot to another patient on the waiting list. Out of respect for other patients waiting to see a surgeon, we ask that you please notify the office if you will be unable to make it to your scheduled appointment.

Cancellation or no-show for office appointments without 24 hours notice will incur a $100 no-show fee.

Cancellation or no-show for a colonoscopy without 2 business days notice will incur a $150 no show fee.

Cancellation or no-show for surgery without 7 business days notice will incur a $150 no show fee.

Please note that this means patients who are unable to attend Monday appointments, or Tuesday appointments after a long weekend must leave a message with the office by Thursday morning the week before their scheduled appointment.
