Your surgeon will provide you with advice and a regiment for pain control after surgery but it is impossible to prevent pain after this procedure, or to bring the pain level to zero. The good news is that in time the pain will subside and once healing has completed most patients are very happy with their results.

Your surgeon will usually see you about 2 months after your hemorrhoid surgery for a post operative check up. Often this is a quick visit at the clinic, but depending on your circumstances this might be done over the phone.
